Getting over it.

I managed quite a bit of progress today, the game is now in a playable state for players, it's not just the computer who can have fun now.

I've got all the settings to save and load correctly and apply in-game and in the demo mode, I still need to figure out a way to redefine the keys in-game, this could be a tricky thing to achieve in Clickteam Fusion 2.5 so that will most likely come soon once I figure it out, I might have to opt for Fusion's built-in remapper and adapt the controls to that which shouldn't be too hard to do.

The AI is still pretty flaky but it does have a dumb charm so I might just have to put up with it for the Game Jam release but that will be improved once I learn more about basic AI.

I also started implementing the high score screen so at the end of a game it goes to an initial entry screen as all good arcade games would normally, might take me some time.

So, in summary, I got the game playable, saving and loading settings, trying to figure out key remapping in Fusion 2.5 is a headache, AI is dumb but charming and high scores will soon be added to the mix.

One last thing, I also added a terrible sounding diddy.  I might want to change it.

Check out the post on my site below, it has the terrible diddy.
